Hon. Iithana is the current Minister of Justice.
Her previous position was Minister of Lands Resettlement and Rehabilitation (1996-2001).
Prior to that Hon. Iithana was Minister of Youth and Sport (1991-1996) and Deputy Minister of Wildlife Conservation and Tourism (1990-1996).
She was a member of the Constituent Assembly that drafted the country's Constitution and was a Founding Member of Parliament, a member of the Central Committee, Politburo and is currently the Secretary General of the SWAPO Party.
Hon. Iithana served as the secretary for the SWAPO Women's Council since 1980-1991, respectively.
Hon. Pendukeni Iivula Iithana holds a Diploma in Public Administration and Management (United Nations Institute for Namibia ), LLB and B.JURIS ( University of Namibia ).
